I know they used to have a specific part available for it in the past.
Maybe they worked it out so this works instead. I do recall seeing the
one my father-in-law just put into his ram for his fifth wheel and it
doesn't go all of the way to the wheel wells on each side. I know some
of the older ones did. Maybe they made them a little narrower so as to
not have to have several different models but slim down the product
line. Who knows but glad they do have one then.
