I have run 10W30 in both my Daks for as long as I have driven them. Its
also what the manual reccomends.

My 4x4 Dak does the same thing, pressure zeros out and the warning light
comes on. But it doesn't do it all teh time. I have shrugged it off to
a bad pressure sending unit and the sending unit connector. I had this
problem first start when I was driving out with Adam Blaster to the 02
DML BBQ. Freaked me out. I have been driving since July with it doing
that almost every day. So far the engine has not thrown a rod and I'm
not as worried when I see it come on as I was before. Now I just get
pissed off. A slight tap of the gas sends the pressure back up to
normal and the light back off. My idle is typically about 7-800 RPM as
well.
