You can replace them w/out doing the whole a-arm. I helped a friend take
care of this a few weeks ago. Just get the moog ones and drill the rivets
or use an air hammer to cut the tops off and then drive them out. Put the
new joint on and USE ONLY GRADE 8 HARDWARE AND LOCKNUTS to secure the new
one. Be sure to really torque them down good. Remember, anything less than
grade 8 will fail and will probably seriously injure you and others around
you.
