That was incorrect statement. I had never heard anyone had any problems
with the platinum plugs. The recommended plug was the 4 plus since most
first time owner who were testing the plugs found them to be more efficient
than the OEM Champion platinum plugs.

Running one cooler when you have change out the thermostat to 180 degree
vice the OEM 197 degree.

Subject: DML: Platinum and the 4.7 : New Question

Yep, you're right. I had 3924 and 3923 written down as the
recommended copper plugs from some threads way back in 2000.
So now my next question.... is or has anyone run one plug
cooler in their 4.7? Can I go with 5223's without a problem?

Thanks,
Tim
