9" inch Ford is a fairly easy install on Dak's, a friend of mine installed
one in his and it went very smoothly.
Just a matter of narrowing the housing or finding one from a early 70's
Mustang (these are said to be the right width)
and tranferring the measurements from the 8 1/4" for the spring perches,
pinion angle, etc.
You'll have to modify the driveshaft to accept a Ford Yoke and U-joint, and
eliminate the rear ABS function.
Also might not be a bad idea to add the rear disc brakes of a late 70's
Lincoln Versailles.
