Sorry ladies and gents -I'm going to take an unpopular stance... but I
don't like it. It has a lingering oder of the M80 in its looks. Those
round composite headlamps don't make the grade in my book. Granted -
these are rendered images hacked from the Durango - not the auctual
truck. But if thats the direction Dakota will go in - my next Dak (if
there ever will be one) will be a Gen III. The fact that the 5.7L is
not planned to be offered only compounds the damages.
Then again I'm a brick lover... If its a box on wheels I like and/or
love it. Examples are 81 Plymouth Reliant, Gen I Dakota, 89 Caprise
Classic, 82 Ford Fairmont coupe, 66 and 77 Dodge Monaco/Plymnouth
Fury... 76 Chevy full size truck... mid 80s Dodge Rams. (sorry folks -
my fondness for cars and trucks is not limited only to Mopar and its
relaltives)
Wonder if the 2005 Dak will be at the Chicago Auto Show?
