Its not in all cereals... but a popular one is Total, they add iron and
zinc filings, however zinc won't get caught by a magnet. If your cereal
box says it contains "reduced iron" or "100% iron" then it has the filings.
our stomach acid generally has no problem dissolving up these guys so we can
get the iron where it needs to be.
