Don't know about that...my thought would be that since it's on the
outside...it should heat up too much. Wouldn't try that myself though
(to find out).

Thanks Bernd, You don't think I'd have any trouble with the smoked
headlight cover then, do you? I know with the stock bulbs, you have a
really hard time seeing at night with the covers on.
