Guys Please! Rustangs have not had 5.0s for several years. They all have
4.6s now. The first year 4.6 mustangs only had around 210 hp. Now they are
260.

  I
was returning to mom-in-law's house and I happened to stop next to a cute
girl in a brand-new Mustang 5.0 at a traffic signal. I blipped the throttle
a couple of times (the exhaust does sound nice!) and got her attention. I
pointed up the street, and she nodded back, so when the light changed I
punched it...just a little. We stayed together for 75 ft or so, until I
dropped back. At the next light, she gave me the finger and stuck her
tongue out at me (an invitation maybe??), so when that light changed, I put
the pedal to the floor and kept it there. She squealed her tires off the
line, but after 2 blocks she was well behind me, still going for all she was
worth. I cut over and got on the freeway, but I never saw her after that, so
I don't know if she gave up, went the other way, or just disappeared into
the distance.

This shouldn't have come out this way, considering she had a larger, more
powerful engine and a much lighter car. I doubt that she was cutting me any
slack, because she looked royally pi$$ed off at the second light.

I wonder if the car went back to the dealership for some work afterwards, or
if she just kept quiet about the whole thing?

:-) Steve
