Actually, I think it was a grand combination of a) short wheelbase, b)
long trailer, c) speed (he's a leadfoot), d) unfamiliarity with his rig
and how to control it, and e) friction anti-sway vs. Reese, Hensley,
PullRite, etc. plus whatever caused him to start swaying in the first
place.
It was a 4300 lb deadweight, 29' trailer being hauled by a 4 Runner with
2 adults, 2 dogs, and who knows how much gear. 4Runner rated for 5000 lbs.
