Dosen't anyone have any old thicknet cards? What happened to the gigabit card.. why not just run fiber???

    Technically, you're only supposed to go just less than 330 feet
with twisted pair 10BaseT. I'm sure it works longer than that, but
I've never tried it so I don't know how much longer. :-)

  The distance from the DML HQ to the pit is somewhere around 1500 feet.
