OK, here's my grand idea. And I was entirely sober when I cooked it up!
We set everyone up with wireless networking gear so they can stream
video from an onboard PC onto the network. Obviously, between the trees
and terrain (not to mention distance), this signal could never get back
to DML HQ.
Sooooo....we set up a relay for the WiFi (Pringles, anyone?) on Jon's
ultralight. While everyone is on the trail, Jon circles overhead,
relaying the transmissions from the trucks to the barn.
We could even have a live IRC chat going! Blow-by-blow commentary from
the front lines!
