Don't take this the wrong way Eric, but I got quite a good laugh out of
this.

Sitting at the restaurant yesterday, we were talking about how the BBQ has
just about taken over the list lately. I said "yeah, next somebody will
be saying we should create a separate DML-BBQ list to take all that
traffic off the regular list."

I realize your motivation is somewhat different, but your timing couldn't
have been much better :-).
