Thanks Tom. It's not often that I post here. I mostly read along. I see a
lot of posts like this and wonder if someone were involved in an accident
behind applying a little more gas, would they still post a message saying
that they beat someone to the punch but caused an accident. The day the
original message was posted I read it and just shook my head. Later that
night, I saw a pretty good looking Dodge Viper. I pulled up next to it and
glanced over at it. Now, there is no way in hell my Dodge Dakota Quadcab
even with a 5.9 would come close to keeping up with a Viper. I wouldn't
even think of trying. Nor would I look for aftermarket products to help me
do that.

On a race track.... now that is a different story. If I were to try to race
a Viper with a Dakota QC, I'd probably drop a jet engine in it that would
run from the front bumper to the back through the bed. This of course would
not make my truck a daily driver, but it would be a nice piece of machinery
to own.
