The worst part is that - by MC standards, the Vmax is a brick. It was
the fastest thing on 2 wheels 12 years ago.... but now, even my bike
has smoked two of them, and mine is comparitively slow... I carry about
5 pounds per HP - including me. You will need a lot more motor to
match those numbers... Motorcycle manufacturers are now VOLUNTARILY
limiting their bike's top speed to 186 mph.

I doubt the guy on the vmax got into it far enough to get the
secondaries to open up. Been there done that and if your not expecting
it it will scare the hell out of you!

Sorry Tony I have to agree with Bernd. I've ridden that bike quite a few
times and the speed is almost scary. Probably why it's been on the
market for at least twelve years that I can think of.
