   I'm not sure what might be causing this - a less than reliable e-mail
server certainly could, or if your e-mail client does threading, its
possible that you deleted the original post which was a part of a
different thread, but the reply had its subject changed and/or showed
up in a different thread. Another possibility is hotmail dropping "bulk"
messages during times of high activity. Its really hard to say without
being there and studying the situation for a while. The answer could
range anywhere from "you aren't actually missing the original posts"
to "the original posts aren't getting to you and I have no idea why". :-)

  If you would like me to look into it further, please forward me one
of the replies you received that you are sure you never saw the original
post for. At the very least, I should be able to determine if the original
was delivered to your mail server.
