   I'm sure that has a lot to do with it. :-) I just don't care about
top speed anymore. Unless you are a road racer or Bonneville contestant
you never get to use it anyway. Give me gobs of low end - I'll take 'em
at the light up to the legal speed, and if they want to pass me then well,
they are certainly welcome to do so. :-) I think my Intruder tops out
around 110 or so (I have never tried to find it) but in whatever gear I
happen to be in, when I nail the throttle, it tries to rip my arms off.
That's good enough for me. :-)
