Heck, my Dealer forgot the modifier on my LSD at my 60k checkup, and STILL charged me a grand.. and it took 3 returns to get them to put "more" in - the bastages would never admit to having forgotten... The Service manager even lied in the computer about it ...

I'd ask before you even wheel into the shop.
Of course, going to a dealer is no guarantee either. I seem to recall
my father having his Durango serviced at his 5-Star dealer once and they
missed the friction modifier.
If you have the means, have someone you can trust 100% do it - you.
