You're killing me... I was just looking at this last Saturday (and not
having much luck).

What you'll need:
* +12 V (clean power source, usually the directions want you to tie
  directly to the battery)
* ground
* brake lights
* trailer brakes

The "trailer brakes" wire can be a new wire. I believe my '95 had a brake
controller installed by the previous owner, and I was trying to figure out
where he had run this line. That was my first hurdle (still haven't
figured it out, I might just run a new one).

The only one that's really difficult to find is the brake lights wire.
With a test light you should be able to find it by looking at the switch
on the brake pedal and tracing where the wires go. The instructions that
come with the brake controller are pretty specific, so if you follow those
you shouldn't have too much trouble.

I took a look at Mr. Steiger's truck and managed to find where the brake
light wire was tied in on his '96. I'm not sure how I would describe it,
though. If you want, I can take a picture of the same connector on my '95
and post it. Of course, you'll definitely want to test it yourself to
make sure it's the right one, but it might give you a place to start.
