Last week was not good for the plans I had made for track and dyno
testing.........
Lousy weather prevented track testing along with inaccurate weather
reports.......
The dyno tests went south the next day when the shop lost record of the
appointment and the technician failed to show to conduct the
tests.......AAAARRRRRRGGGH!!
So,......on sunday I decided to attend a local car and truck show that was
organized by a friend and his family
as a benefit for the local VFD in Masontown, Pa
About a 130+ cars and trucks showed up including 30
late-model Mustangs, Camaro SS's, and Firebird Ram-air
IV's, and various other Muscle cars and classics......
Including a really NICE AC Cobra replica with a Mustang GT driveline
powering it......
It was participant voting with the Top 25 '84-back , and
Top 10 '85-current receiving awards.........
well, at the end of the day the Dak received 5th place in the Top
10.........MUCH TO MY SURPRISE!!
Maybe the Thursday night test and tune may work out this week after
all.......
