yeah, I had it on my old mazda... when I tried to put it in my Dak, it only would catch about 1/32" of rail on either side, and fell down. It wedged itself between the wheelwells and the front of the box, and I could still reach the locks/opener buttons, so I left it there until I got my rolltop. I dunno about a 50# bottle, but you could probably gang about 4 - 30# bottles... I ended up selling it tho.... But they still sell them at Lowes..
