Finally, I just got back from Canfield, Ohio and the Hot Rod Super
Nationals.
While I was there I had the opportunity for some FREE
Dyno testing......(paid $20.00 for A/F ratio readings)
baseline tests conducted netted the following:
all tests were run with 6lbs boost....
Dyno Run #1
209.5 RWHP and 283.9 RWTQ (exactly as expected)
Dyno Run #2 (with Nos and a 40hp Dry shot)
239.5 RWHP and 280.3 RWTQ
Dyno Run #3 (with Nos and a 50hp Dry shot)
244.5 RWHP and 302.3 RWTQ
The A/F ratio needs adjusted, it's too rich from 3800 on up to 5000,.....but
too lean from 2000 to 3700......
I also believe the bottle was a little cold due to the weather conditions
and it may have lowered the bottle pressure some,...
I'm gonna add a bottle warmer and a blanket from Nos and a gauge from Auto
Meter to monitor the pressure.
Hmmmmmmmmm,.....Gotta get ready in time for Carlisle!!
