SRT4's aren't rare around here. The local dealers have quite a few on
the lot and the one near my house (one of the larger ones) had to have
had almost 40 when I was counting while at the light yesterday. Seen a
lot of them on the road.

Uhh, yeah, but in an AWD, you can floor it off the line in rain... I
got a
probe that's FWD, and it's not much better than my truck in launching..
I
have a buddy that has the Impreza WRX, and he can launch around a corner
in
rain better than my truck launches in a straight line dry. Also, in
terms
of 1/4 mile, the WRX is around 14.2-14.3 (buddy has his running 14.3
100%
stock)... SRT-4 is right around 14 flat. I understand that the new
WRX
that is around 300hp is coming out here soon. The current WRX is
slightly
more expensive than the SRT-4, but mostly due to the AWD, around $4K
difference I believe... SRT-4 is definitely more rare though :-) I
have
yet to see a SRT-4 here. Oh yeah, saw a WRX at the track running low
13's,
and I believe about the only mod he's doing is modify his boost amount.
Maybe a few small bolt-ons, but nothing major. (and some lightnings
running
high 12's too.. grrr)
