My truck started out life with that same tire size... I now run 245/70 - R15
yokohama avid s/t's (about $60 at tirerack) on it now... they hold the
asphalt REALLY well in the dry, and not too shabby in the wet. They've got
a 65K mile warranty as well (i think) but they're a little too soft to last
that long, I only got about a year's usage out of them....maybe 20K miles
max and the rears were straight up bald, the fronts were past the wear
marks... but then again, I don't drive my truck like a truck, i'm still
stuck in "sports car mode."
