I had an Extang tonno on my old truck. It wasn't the lift kind though.
Very strong tonno. Can withstand 1000+ pounds of weight on top of it. I
dont see how ripping would be a problem. I liked it quite a bit. The
only thing I hated was how much it shrunk in the cold. That's why I'm
looking into getting a can-back for my 03. It's a soft topper made from
canvas and won't shrink in the cold. And it looks cool. Something to
make my truck different from all the rest. www.can-back.com The one
thing I'm not crazy about is that you have to drill into the body to
install it. Kinda sucks. I'll prolly get it anyway. I like to be able to
keep my tools dry when I haul em. I considered a roll top, but uyou
loose space in the bed with the box at the front.
