Well,
I ordered a set of Chrome Headers off E-bay. I am
not sure if anyone has seen them but there is a link
to them below

I got my headers last night. I guess I got what I paid
for. They are rough. The flanges are thick I would say
1/4 to 3/8 thick. But they are flame cut, so they are
very rough and not deburred. The tubes are bent
correct but they two are rough. The Chrome is crap. It
looks like spray paint chrome. I am sure that it will
burn off and discolor after the first time of running
the motor. The welding is the worst part it is shotty
and there is alot of splatter. The welds look like
they could be cold lapped. So who ever weld them did
not know how to weld correctly. I could weld better in
High School. I am also worried about the flatness of
the header flange. The Large puddles of weld were
roughly cut down. (Looks like a end mill but not sure,
I can tell you that it was not a surface planer.) And
just by eye balling it I do not think it is flat.
Over all not very happy with them. But luckly I have a
machine shop with all sorts of tools to fix them. I
most likely will Sand blast them grind all the rough
parts smooth, Grind the welds so there not in the flow
of the header. Re-weld most of the joints. I will TIG
them and save the MIG for later. Then I will figure
out if I need to plane them stright. But I will have
to wait a couple of weeks before I can work on them.
I just wanted to pass on the info, before anyone else
got taken. I would not recommend these headers to any
one that doesn't have the time to fix them. Even then
you would be better off to spend the extra money and
buy a real set.
BTW. If you still want to buy a set after reading my
E-mail. Let me know. I will gladly sell you mine for
the 100 bucks plus 25 in shipping to the lower 48
