   There should be no problem replacing the sensors individually.
Essentially, the main job of the rear O2 sensor is to monitor the
health of the cat. The computer will keep an eye on the sensors
and will start to throw trouble codes if it thinks they are no
longer up to the task. For the pre-cat O2 sensor, you would probably
notice some differences in the way the truck runs before the computer
will flag it, so that is a sensor which is commonly changed before the
computer flags it, but there's no need to worry about the post-cat sensor
until the computer starts throwing codes at you.
