Well, I just pulled the trigger on shocks, finally. I wanted the
Bilsteins, but in the end bought the Edelbrock Performer IAS because they
are specifically listed for the 4x4 quad cab, and Bilstein makes a point
of saying "Not for use on quad cab". That wouldn't normally deter me, but
I figured it would negate the 'lifetime warranty'.
Truckperformance.com has free ground shipping on shocks until 11:59 this
evening, so they got the business.
