Neil, from Rochester to Buffalo is fairly flat, I think you could pull
OD most of the way, aside from the hills.
My father hauls his 27' travel trailer from Albany to South Jersey
toggling OD all the way down. And he runs pretty close to the GCWR for
that trek.
