If he gets it powder coated, he might not be able to qualify for the stock
show class any longer. I know, the judges and vehicle classifiers can be
real picky about what they consider stock and not stock. It happened to me
once when I painted the air cleaner under my hood to match the body color of
the vehicle, that was also the day I decided that stock class was no longer
for me.
