Purple liquid around battery terminals

Today I had the truck into the dealer to check out the steering column
creaking/squeaking noise I mentioned a while back. At the same time,
I had them change the oil. Tonight, I popped the hood and found
purple liquid around both terminals of my almost brand new Optima
battery. What I'm thinking (and hoping) is that it's just some sort
of anti-corrosion spray or something that the dealer sprayed on there.
Am I right, or is there something wrong with my battery already?!
Just being really paranoid here I'm sure...
