my girlfriend has a 2001 Chevy Cavalier (with the 2.2L I-4). she gets about
32-33mpg (usually driving about 85mph) on her trips to school (all highway,
about 35 miles each way). between her school driving and her in-town
driving, she'll go through a tank in 3-4 days.

Paul,
Thanks, but that's the problem. I'm not looking for a service manual at the
moment, but rather, a regular, run-of-the-(glove box) owners' manual.
I'm hoping my Sunfire will give me 35-37 on the highway. I've been about 70
miles with it since I bought it yesterday, and that's all stop-and-go
around-town driving. My gas guage just moved off from the full mark on my
way home. :-)
This same mileage in my Dak would leave me with 5/8ths of a tank :)
