That's what I was thinking...pretty crappy handling from the factory.
(Then again, the "Handling Package" on the Gen-III trucks is pretty bad
as well - coat hanger rear swaybar.) ;)

My 93 had the holes in the lower control arms there for the sway bar end
links, and had 2 out of the 4 holes drilled on each side of the frame
for
the front sway bar mounting plates. Stock with no sway bars the truck
was a
disaster in the corners..lol
