Absotivalutely! (That was one of the major changes to the engine.)
It actually is possible to use Magnum heads on an LA block, with a little
work. I don't know if the reverse is true, but I can't think of why
anyone would want to use an LA head on a Magnum anyway - the Magnum heads
are SO much better.
