Yo are right about the angle grinder. I get rid of the tab whenever I do a
t stat. Every truck I've done a t stat on the waterneck wouldnt just slide
out easily. I didnt want to force it . I'm sure while your fumbeling
finageling the housing out and trying to scrape the old gasket off in that
tight space I can have the front bracket off and back on in a shorter time.
All ya need is a system. ;) and this is what works for me
