Just remember, too much oil/sealer isn't good for the A/C system either.
Best bet, fix the leak...don't just cover it up.

I had the same problem. I went to wal-mart and got a
refill kit from interdynamics (it included the pressure
gauge). I filled it upright and everything was fine. It
took one full can to fill it the first time, then about
half a can the second or third day -- now the hole is
sealed up! Thank god, no high cost air conditioning
fixes..
