What I did was to get an adapter that has the schraeder thread on one
side, 1/8 NPT on the other. I just removed the core of the schraeder
valve using a standard valve stem tool. Unfortunately I'm not sure
where to go to get such an adapter since Bill Tierney found it for
me at a sort of industrial supply place near him. You might want
to try some place like McMaster-Carr, MSC, etc.
