Went down to Home Depot, and bought 3 feet (they only had 3' lengths,)
of 1/4" threaded stainless steel rod for $2... CANADIAN... ;) Took me
maybe 15 mins to bend up right and decently match the placement of the
old tie-down. You only need maybe 5" for the final product, but hey, I
can go into the S-bolt making business with all the extra.
$10 plus shipping for a stainless steel s-bolt. You want one?
