Gauges not working - FIXED!!

Well, decided to bite the bullet, and take the truck to the local 5 star to get my gauges checked out to see why there weren't working.

Get this, fuse #10 is blown.. GRRRR... Well, I *KNEW* it was going to be something stupid like that, and I was right... Funny thing is, the FSM says that if the Gauges aren't working, but the backlight is (as was in my scenerio), check fuse #12 (IOD)... Which that one was fine.... I checked 1 other fuse, and it was OK, and didn't see any others that I thought would cause the problem...

well, anyway, problem resolved.. $56 later and I'll be on the road. They also reset the needles since the tach and speedo needles had fallen to the right side when I was pulling the cluster in & out while tracking the problem. I'm still in the plus side here on cost since I think the last time they did just a single O2 sensor for me, it was like $160. That's about what i'm going to end up spending, but will have replaced both O2 sensors...

Hmmm.... Next project that's waiting for me: replace the front rotors & pads (oh yeah, after I put my dash back in.. duhhhh).

One Question: Would the O2 sensors effect the performance very much??? Asking cause it did seem a little peppy (thought I had just reset the PCM)... Tough to tell with the gauges not working though, but, I did hit WOT from doing about 20-25mph, and it chirped the tires... Never really done that before, and exhaust does sound a bit..ummm...... more aggresive :-)
