fuel sender

back when my '98 was new-to-me, it ran out of gas quite a few times.
it'd sputter and die anywhere from 1/8 to 1/3 of a tank on the gauge.
took replacing the sender once and the pump/sender a second time to get
it reading right.

seemed odd to replace the fuel pump but I suppose after running out of
gas a half dozen times it quite possibly could have picked up some
major crud. I dunno, and I don't trust that dealer too much....
