Probably because they're only 10.5" wide. The standard 33 is 12.5" wide.
This makes quite a difference.

BTW, for 32" mudders, Tire Rack only lists these:
  BFGoodrich Mud-Terrain T/A KM
  Bridgestone Dueler M/T
  Dunlop Radial Mud Rover
  Goodyear Wrangler MT/R

Not a lot of selection.

I see that Swamper Radials come in 32x10.50R15LT as well as 33x10.50R15LT,
and the SSR series comes in 32x11.50R15LT. Thornbirds also come in
33x10.50R15LT. I mean, if you're going to be using two sets of tires,
might as well go full-bore.
