If I remember correctly, a simple, no frills flatbed trailer would
probably be in the $1200-2000 range. This is for a brand new trailer.
I remember Pete Cutler picked one up a couple of years ago used, for $400.
It did need some work, but with the time and ability, a great deal.
There are aluminum trailers available, but I think the idea behind
those is more weight reduction than anything else, so I wouldn't be
surprised if an aluminum trailer was more expensive than steel.
