oil filter relocation

hey david-
I remember you told me that a few years after you put on your oil
filter relocation kit you had a hose blow. I'm wondering if that was,
for instance, the cut-to-length rubber hose that comes with the
Perma-Cool universal kit?

I'm looking at the kits listed at Performance Center
<http://www.performancecenter.com/products/
?searchtype=1235d&sortorder=ADAA&urlsubcategory=Oil+System&productcatego
ry=Oil+Filter+Relocation+Kits+%26+Accessories&sf4=UNIVERSAL+OIL+FILTER+M
OUNT+KITS> and seeing a HUGE price difference between the Perma-Cool
dual filter kit at $84 with 'whatever' hoses and the Milodon braided
steel dual kit at $151. The middle-of-the-road 300PSI rubber hose kits
from Milodon only come in single filter designs.....

I somehow doubt it would cost $65 to get two 24" braided stainless
hoses, but I don't quite know where to even start looking for such a
beast. any pointers since you've 'been there' and 'done that'?

thanks,
