Hmmm... Call me paranoid, but this sounds more like a marketing decision
to me. "Gee, we have this nice new high-tech transmission fluid, better
tell all the dealer mechanics that they have to use it so we can sell
more of it."
I'm sure ATF+4 is good stuff, but if it's now "required" in virtually
every Chrysler vehicle ever built it makes you wonder how we ever got
along without it in the first place.
