no problem at all. if I do happen to hand it off to Mystery Girl, I
think I might have to bring my camera so I can prove her existence.....

I'll certainly keep an eye peeled for it.
looks like I'll be doing a bit of work there, anyway, in addition to
changing Tom's tires. my exhaust just popped off a third time, so I
need to pull that pipe off, poke a small hole in it and pound out that
ding that's keeping it from going all the way onto the Y pipe. I knew
I'd regret taking the clamp off the old-fashioned way....
it's pretty repeatable: if the truck is cold and I hammer it, the
exhaust pressure will push the pipe off. after it's hot, it seems to
expand enough that I can romp on it without needing to pull over and
make the pipes talk to each other again.
I wish I had the time to do it sooner, since the parts will be a bit
hot by the time I get to Steigerland, but I don't have much choice....
with luck, it will be cool enough that I can work on it by the time
Tom's tires are off and on, or at least by the time his truck is on the
trailer.
remind me to set a fan under there to speed things along.....
