The broken shock bolt is on my Dad's Gen-III (97) 4x4. Sorry if I
confused anyone. I've got the ProComps on my 95 as well, but no problems
yet. I didn't compare the lengths when I installed mine or his though.
Guess I should have.

Just curious...has anyone measured and compared the ProComps to the
stock (or other aftermarket) shocks for the Gen-II 4x4's? I'm wondering
if they're not the correct size.

Thanks for the info Bob. From what I gather, the only time anyone has
had
the shock bolts break were while using the ProComps up front. It almost

sounds like it's worth picking up 2 new front shocks to avoid any future

trouble. I've got to say that I'm a little dissapointed with this idea
though. I kinda thought everyone had good luck with the ProComps. I
hope I
don't see the same trouble out of mine.
Thanks.
