Well Billy, the idea is stouter front and rear auntil I get a chacne to do
the solid axle swap..From my understanding that there is no significant fram
diference or and real differences other than body between GenII and
GenIII....

Now I realize they used a bit of a different front suspension which gives
the GenIII a taller stance in the front and a different mounting for the
rear springs to the frame, to raise it, but essentially the 9.25 (rear being
wider is not a bad thing in my opinion as the rear on my GenII is 2 1/2"
skinnier than the front) shock mounts etc should still be located in the
"same" area?

I will get the ol trusty tape out and give them a fine going over.. The
suspension on axles seem to be in excellent condition, the truck was flipped
and skidded upside down for about a 1/4 mile and never touched the wheels
again 8-)
