500's were the trim code above the R/T. i think they were the "luxury"
model for the Charger. they all came standard with 440's, and had optional
426 HEMI's.

Driving home tonight I saw a blue Charger (same blue as Jon's 'Cuda I
think) by one of the local repair shops. On the grille it had "Charger
500" - anyone know what this signifies?

No registration sticker on it, but there was an inspection. Wonder if
it's going up for sale...
