ABS Light

I have been having problems with my ABS light coming on, on my 89 Shelby.
First it was a wire grounding to the frame. Fixed it and problem solved. It
came on again the other day and noticed I had no reverse lights. Fixed the
wire connector in the rear and problem went away. No it is on again and all
my other lights are working. My dealer (which my friend owns) thinks it is
the hydraulic switch. The part is $258.00. Any ideas before I lay out the
cash?
