Thats totally right. The thing is that we pay as much for a liter that you pay for a gallon.
Since 3 years they raise the gasoline prices with a tax called "oekosteuer" wich is something like a economy tax. Normally, thats what teh politic said to us, the will take that extra money to support economical things. I think they use it to earn more money for they job.
